Dr. Fulgham will discuss the latest tests including biomarkers to identify men at increased risk for prostate cancer, address the disparities in outcomes for men of Black ethnicity and provide updates on new technology and treatments for prostate cancer. FREE BUT REGISTRATION REQUIRED.

The event will be held in the Fogelson Auditorium on the campus of Texas Health Presbyterian Dallas, 8160 Walnut Hill Lane. Free valet parking in front of the Margot Perot building. Free self-parking in the lot between the Margot Perot and Jackson buildings.

About Chris Arnold: Since 1996, Chris has been an integral part of the NBA’s 2011 World Champion Dallas Mavericks broadcast team. First serving for eight years as their courtside analyst for Fox Sports Southwest and currently since 2005, serving as the Mavs game night Emcee. In addition to his Mavericks correspondence, his television experience included five years working as a sports reporter at ABC affiliate WFAA TV in Dallas. Chris’ work garnered an Emmy. In 2019 Chris became the only journalist inducted into the Texas Black Sports Hall of Fame. In 2020 He was inducted to the Texas Radio Hall of Fame.

About Pat Fulgham, MD: Dr. Pat Fulgham is a Board-Certified Urologist who practiced for 35 years at Texas Health Presbyterian Dallas treating thousands of prostate cancer patients and ultimately becoming a prostate cancer survivor himself. Dr. Fulgham graduated from Texas A & M and received his medical and urology training at UT Southwestern. Dr. Fulgham is Director of Clinical Trials for a partnership between Mary Crowley Cancer Research Center and Urology Clinics of North Texas. His focus is on cancers of the urinary tract including prostate, bladder, and kidney. He is an editor and reviewer for the World Journal of Urology. Dr. Fulgham established a non-profit foundation in 2001 with a focus on educating the community about prostate cancer serves as president.
