Men’s Health and Wellness Fair: The Prostate Playbook

 

In recognition of Prostate Cancer Awareness Month this September, Dallas County Health and Human Services (DCHHS) is hosting “The Prostate Playbook” Men’s Health and Wellness Fair!


This community event is designed to focus on both the mental and physical well-being of men, offering valuable resources, information, and health screenings to help encourage a healthy lifestyle for the whole family.

Join Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated – Gamma Alpha Omega Zeta Chapter for a virtual community health event focused on prostate cancer facts, prevention strategies, and early detection methods. Featured speaker Dr. Kevin Courtney, Professor of Internal Medicine in the Division of Hematology / Oncology at UT Southwestern Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center, will share expert insights on risk factors, screening options, and treatment. Whether you are seeking information for yourself or looking to support the men in your life, this free online session offers key resources to help you leave informed and empowered.

Richardson Mayor Richardson presents Mayoral Proclamation to Prostate Cancer to NTxPCC Volunteer Bruce Stahl.  The proclamation makes the month of September 2022 as Prostate Cancer Awareness Month to raise “awareness of prostate cancer and the importance of prostate cancer screenings.
